Q. What’s the difference between a Half Day Fan Zone ticket and a Full Day Fan Zone ticket?
A. A Half Day Fan Zone ticket is available only when there is a single sports match on a given day and allows entry to only that match. A Full Day Fan Zone ticket is available when there are two or more sports matches on a given day and allows entry to all the matches, even if they are for different sports. Only one of these two types of Fan Zone tickets are offered on any given day. If you wish to attend a single match on a multiple match day, you will still need to purchase a Full Day Fan Zone ticket.
Q. What's a Premium ticket?
A. Premium tickets include one entry into the screening and a deck chair to sit on. Deck chairs are allocated on a first come, first serve basis upon arrival.
Q. What’s a VIP ticket?
A. VIP tickets include entry for up to 4 people into the screening and the use of one of our bespoke beach huts for the duration of the day. Beach huts include luxury seating, a complimentary mini-bar, and butler service. Only twelve beach huts are available for each day and are allocated on a first come, first serve basis upon arrival.
Q. What am I sitting on? Can I bring my own chair like your normal events?
Seating is not provided to General Admission ticket holders, who may sit anywhere on the beach on a first come first serve basis. Audience members are welcome to bring their own seating, though backrests and blankets will be for sale on-site. We ask that those sitting on chairs sit to the sides and back of the site, with those on blankets sitting at the front, to allow for the best view for everyone.
Premium and VIP tickets are available for purchase, which provide the use of a deck chair or a beach hut along with entry to the screening. For more information, please visit the booking page.
Q. When can I arrive at the screening?
For all screenings, doors open an hour before the scheduled start time. For Half Day Fan Zone and General Admission ticket holders, we recommend you arrive at this time to get a drink at the bar and reserve your place as space on-site is on a first come first serve basis. Full Day Fan Zone or VIP ticket holders may arrive at any point during the day.
Q. What happens if it rains?
A. The event will always go ahead in the event of bad weather. Please check the weather forecast in advance and be prepared for the Great British Summer. Screenings will only be cancelled if the weather conditions present a danger at screening time. Patrons accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur on a screening day and acknowledge that tickets will not be exchanged or refunded unless a screening is cancelled by The Luna Beach Cinema. In the unlikely event that a screening is cancelled, we will aim to give as much notice as possible, so please keep an eye out for information on the website and social media.
Q. How will I receive my ticket?
A. This depends on how you choose to book - you can opt to have a print at home ticket or a physical ticket that is posted to you by first class post. The charges for each are clearly set out on each booking. Please make sure you bring your ticket (whether it’s a print at home, e-ticket on a device, or posted ticket) to the event as our staff will scan each to ensure validity. Q. Can I bring food and drink?
A. Please refrain from bringing food and drink to the Luna Beach Cinema screenings - there will be a bar on-site selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as various food vendors selling a selection of items.
Q. Can I smoke at the screening?
A. Smoking is not permitted at our screenings.
Q. Can I bring a dog to the screening?
A. Only service dogs are allowed at the Luna Beach Cinema screenings. Otherwise, no dogs are permitted at our events out of respect to other audience members. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Q. Will there be toilet facilities at the screenings?
A. Yes, all our screenings have toilet facilities. These include disabled toilet facilities.
Q. Can I bring children?
A. Children are permitted at our events, but please be aware that they must adhere to the film’s certification and our ushers will check to make sure that all audience members are the suitable age to see the film. Please ensure you have photo identification with you if your child may appear younger than the listed film certification. Children aged under 3 have free entry and do not require a ticket
Q. Will there be food and drink available at the screening?
A. We have a bar on-site serving a full selection of hot and cold drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, as well as various food options.
Q. What if I forget my ticket?
A. Please bring your ticket along – if you do forget it, we have a record of all bookings, so if you provide our steward with your details we can admit you into the event. All audience members including children must have a valid ticket.
Q. Do you have a group bookers' discount or offer corporate hospitality packages?
A. Yes, we do have a group bookers' discount of £1 off each ticket for all orders of ten or more. You can book this on the venue booking page, or feel free to contact us to arrange it for you. We have various corporate hospitality options available to tailor your night with us exactly to suit your needs. Please contact us for more information.
Q. Will there be subtitles?
A. Not as standard, but if you have a large group coming that requires subtitles, please let us know and we will see what we can do. Where we show foreign language films we do always display subtitles
Q. Is there wheelchair access?
A. Yes, the site has wheelchair access, please inform us if you require any additional support on site.
Q. Can I hire the Luna Cinema for a private event?
A. Yes, our entire cinema set-up can be hired for parties, corporate screenings or whatever occasion you like! Please contact us and we will provide you with more details.
